The next meeting of the Highland Neighborhood Association will be on Monday, October 19th at the Brewtorium.

This meeting will have a special focus on public education. We have invited Daniel Dawer, a researcher and PhD candidate at UT, to give his talk TEA Takeover 101: What can we expect in Austin ISD? We are trying to get Dan’s message out to as many people as possible, so please spread the word and extend the invite to anyone you know who might be interested.

We have also invited Pamela Mathai, a candidate for At-Large Position 9 on the AISD school board.

As always, hope to see you there.
