The Highland Neighborhood Association of Belleville, IL encompasses approximately 600 basically single-resident homes just to the east of the historic downtown district of Belleville, IL. The majority of the homes were built in the 1920's, but some date back into the 19th Century and some are newer. The HNA was chartered as a not-for-profit organization by the State of Illinois in 1993. The Association is led by a Board of Directors composed of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and five Directors. The Association holds general meetings four times a year - February, April, September and November - on the third Tuesday of the month at Douglas School. The Board of Directors meets monthly. Annual dues are $10.00 per household. Dues help support this website, the monthly newsletter, the Halloween and Christmas decorating contests, the Easter Egg hunt and improvements to East End Park. Your donation is important to support the work of the Association. Please complete the Membership Form and become a dues paying member today. |
